• All personnel working within Overseas Distribution Services Inc. factory premises shall be fully knowledgeable of all safety rules and regulations. All personnel shall carry relevant security and government issued passes at all times.
• Our team at the Overseas Distribution Services Inc. installation & operational areas shall be of the highest caliber in experience and technical know-how.
• Smoking is prohibited in all hazardous areas. Any equipment to ignite fires, including mechanical lighters and match boxes are prohibited. Non-flame proof torches, photographic flash lights and transistor radios are also restricted in sensitive areas. Only intrinsically safe pagers shall be used inside hazardous areas.
• Safety gear and protective equipment must be worn by all employees, as stipulated by their respective supervisors.
• All tools and equipment shall be inspected and tested for safety before being put into use.
• Any crane, hoist or lifting tackle that is brought into the work premises shall have a copy of its current inspection certificate with it.
• All Overseas Distribution Services Inc. employees working in the factory shall be familiar with the location of the nearest fire alarm, the evacuation signal, the escape routes and the correct extinguishers and their location.
• No guards or protective devices may be removed or misused by employees from any machine, lift or any other facility.
• Precautionary guard rails, toe boards and or safety harnesses shall be utilized, when employees are working close to the edge of roofs.
• Welding equipment, fireproof screens shall be installed for the protection of employees from welding flashes.
• Any employee, if involved in or witness to an accident (such as injury, vehicle collision, fire, property damage, atmospheric pollution etc. or near miss) shall inform his immediate Company Supervisor.
• Any employee working for Overseas Distribution Services Inc. shall, at all times, ensure that they are thoroughly familiar with all emergency response procedures.
